2026 Grounds Crew InternshipMidland RockHounds Double-A Affiliate of the AthleticsJob Description:· Internship timeframe: February 15th – October 9th· This is a hands-on position in which you will be involved in all aspects of the field operation· Assist in all clay maintenance: mounds, plate, infield skin, and warning track· Operating equipment for turfgrass cultural practices such as mowing, aerifying, topdressing, fertilizing, and more· You will be involved in planning special projects and executing those plans· Improve budgeting, scheduling, and time management skills· Irrigation maintenance· Assist with tarp pulls· Setting up/breakdown for batting practice as well as other in-stadium events· Perform RockHounds Grounds Crew Beginner and Advanced Training Programs· Work through SFMA Internship Guide on daily basisCompensation:· $18/hour + $50 Game Rate· Ability to earn bonuses· Uniforms, meals on game dayQualifications:· The candidate must be self-motivated and possess the desire to pursue a career in sports turf management. skills, attention to detail, and the desire to learn each day. experience is preferred but not required.
