Position Description The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing the organization’s transactions related to accounts payables/receivables, and other administrative accounting tasks.
This role will be reporting to the office within our National Training Center in Fayetteville, GA.
Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain the accounts payable inboxCollect mail daily from mailroomProcess accounts payable invoicesFollow up with individuals on outstanding invoice approvalsReview expenses in the organization expense reporting platformRecord checks received, and provide departments deposit informationAssist with the generation invoices for accounts receivableOther duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting with a focus in accounts payableProficient with Microsoft Office products and Financial ERP systemsStrong verbal, written and in-person communication skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent organization skillsGeneral knowledge of soccerCapable of working in fast-paced and demanding environmentsMust be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and missionDesired QualificationsExperience working at a non-profit, sporting organization, financial services, or public accounting firmExperience at a public accounting firmPursue lifelong development and learningBelieve and commit to the company’s culture and organizational goalsPassion for soccerU.
