We’re expanding fast and looking for a Group Exercise Director to oversee all group fitness operations in Long Island and Queens. Position SummaryThis role leads instructor hiring, class programming, and quality control across multiple clubs. experienced in managing group fitness programs remotely while keeping classes engaging and consistent across all locations. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard, and coach group exercise instructors across assigned clubsMaintain up-to-date instructor certifications and regional sub listsBuild and manage weekly class schedules based on demand and feedbackLaunch group exercise programs during new club presale and openingsConduct in-person and virtual audits to maintain brand standardsSupport Club and Fitness Managers with coverage, training, and engagementPartner on presale events, promotions, and community activationsQualifications3+ years of multi-site or regional group exercise leadership preferredNational certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc. BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceTravel reimbursementAnnual education/conference stipendComplimentary Retro Fitness family membershipClear path to a National Director of Group Exercise role within Project Lift – Retro FitnessFlexible work from home options available.
