JOB SUMMARYThe Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is a professional men’s soccer team competing in the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer. The organization also includes the Pittsburgh Riveters SC, a USL W League women’s team launched in 2025, and the nationally recognized Riverhounds Development Academy. The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC are seeking a creative, organized, and growth-minded Manager, RDA & Facilities Marketing to lead marketing, social media, website content, and digital storytelling for the Riverhounds Development Academy, F.

B. Stadium, and AHN Montour Sports Complex.
This role will be responsible for increasing awareness, registrations, and participation across Riverhounds Development Academy programming while elevating RDA as the premier player pathway program in the Pittsburgh region. The successful candidate will own the Academy's digital presence and create content that highlights player development, coaching excellence, academy culture, program success, and the connection to the Riverhounds professional pathway.
In addition to RDA marketing, this position will promote facility-based programming and third-party events at club facilities, including camps, tournaments, adult summer leagues, clinics, rentals, community events, and other revenue-generating opportunities.
The Manager, RDA & Facilities Marketing will play a key role in shaping how players, families, partners, and the Pittsburgh soccer community view the Riverhounds Development Academy and club facilities. This position is responsible for making the Academy's online presence more consistent, professional, and engaging while helping drive measurable growth across programs.
Success in this role will be measured by improved RDA brand presence, stronger digital storytelling, increased program awareness, and growth in registrations and participation across academy and facility programming.
Responsibilities:RDA Marketing & GrowthDevelop and execute marketing strategies that increase registrations and participation across all Riverhounds Development Academy programs.
Promote RDA tryouts, camps, clinics, tournaments, seasonal programs, training opportunities, showcases, and other academy initiatives.
Position RDA as the premier youth soccer development and player pathway program in the Pittsburgh region through consistent branding, storytelling, and digital content.
Work closely with academy leadership and coaching staff to identify promotional opportunities, key program updates, player stories, team achievements, alumni success, and important announcements.
Support marketing initiatives that improve awareness, generate inquiries, drive registrations, and strengthen long-term engagement with players and families.
Social Media & Digital StorytellingOwn and manage Riverhounds Development Academy social media channels and develop a consistent year-round content calendar.
Create, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content that reflects the professionalism and standards of the Riverhounds brand.
Capture photo and video content from training sessions, matches, camps, clinics, tournaments, showcases, facility events, and academy programming.
Highlight players, coaches, teams, alumni, college commitments, player development stories, academy culture, and pathway success stories.
Track social media performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, audience growth, and content quality.
Website & Digital Content ManagementMaintain the accuracy, organization, and overall quality of RDA website content.
Update program information, registration links, schedules, tryout details, camp pages, clinic information, tournament details, staff information, news, and announcements.
Ensure RDA, facility, and event-related web pages remain current, professional, and easy for players, families, and event organizers to navigate.
Assist with landing pages, event pages, and promotional pages that support registrations, facility programming, and revenue-generating initiatives.
Write and edit website copy, promotional messaging, social captions, and other digital content as needed.
Facility Marketing & Event PromotionLead marketing support for facility-based programming at F.

Promote camps, tournaments, adult summer leagues, clinics, facility rentals, community events, private events, and third-party programming hosted at club facilities.
Create promotional content across social media, website, email, and other digital channels that drives participation and supports facility revenue goals.
Work with facility staff and event organizers to gather event details, schedules, images, registration links, promotional needs, and key messaging.

Campaign Planning & Cross-Department CollaborationBuild and maintain marketing calendars for RDA programming, facility events, camps, tournaments, leagues, and other promotional priorities.
Collaborate with RDA leadership, coaches, facility staff, stadium operations, creative, communications, community, and marketing team members.
Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, interns, and staff to collect and publish timely, accurate, and engaging content.
Maintain organized files of photos, videos, graphics, templates, logos, registration links, event information, and campaign assets.
Review campaign performance, registration trends, website activity, and content engagement to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:RequiredBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, sport management, digital media, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
experience in sports marketing, digital marketing, social media management, communications, youth sports, facility marketing, event marketing, or a related area.
Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and creating digital content for an organization, team, event property, school, or brand.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, short-form video editing, or basic graphic design.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Experience maintaining website content or working within a content management system.
Ability to capture basic photo and video content using a phone or camera.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with dates, links, registration information, schedules, and program details.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, programs, and content needs at once.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, academy events, tournaments, camps, leagues, showcases, and facility events as needed.
PreferredExperience in youth soccer, youth sports, college athletics, professional sports, facility marketing, or event marketing.
Experience marketing camps, clinics, tournaments, leagues, registrations, memberships, or participation-based programs.
Understanding of youth soccer development pathways, competitive soccer environments, and family-facing sports programming.
Basic knowledge of social media analytics, website analytics, digital campaign tracking, and content performance reporting.

B. Stadium, AHN Montour Sports Complex, and related facility programming. The role will include regular office work, content planning, website updates, and active content capture at academy sessions, games, camps, clinics, tournaments, leagues, facility rentals, and community events.
Evening and weekend availability will be required based on academy schedules, tournaments, camps, leagues, showcases, and facility needs.
