POSITION: Marketing & Communications InternDEPARTMENT: Communications/MarketingREPORTS TO: Communications & Marketing Activation CoordinatorsSTATUS: Internship, Unpaid, OnsiteSUMMARY: This is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in a career in Communications/Marketing. skills necessary to explore career opportunities within the chosen field. EXPERIENCEIntern will learn and be exposed to:Inner workings of a major non-profit sports and event organizationDetailed and hands on operations of a Communications and Marketing Department. Development of plans for advertising, marketing communications, grass roots promotions, event management, filing and distributing of news clippings, and more. about distribution of press releases internally and externally. Understand tasks associated with OBC archival history (old game programs, game films & videos for all events, event photography). Exposure of marketing strategies to increase overall brand awareness of the Orange Bowl Committee and its events. Enhance skills of reviewing content and proofreading of publications and website. Logistics associated with researching, ordering and managing inventory of promotional giveaway items. Other opportunities as may be available.
