You’ll also…Assists in the supervision of all technical work at Entertainment Show and Event venues including but not limited to load-in, lighting hang and focus, level set, sound check, daily show/event operation, routine maintenance, and strikeAct as point person for daily troubleshooting of technical issues at all Entertainment venuesBuild rapport as primary liaison with outside contractor companies to ensure technical needs are communicated and facilitated, and safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered toWork with other CW departments such as Creative & Event Services to facilitate show and event technical needsMaintain all technical elements as set during the rehearsal/technical period; ensure quality of show or event is maintained to the standard set out by directors and managementNotify Supervisors of maintenance needs and assist in equipment maintenance/repair as required. Learn and master all assigned equipment, its operation, and maintenance proceduresTake proper care of all assigned equipment and before each use ensure that the equipment operates safely. Conduct daily safety checks and report any damages, malfunctions, and irregularities to managementAssist with maintaining an inventory of equipment and equipment accessories. Report any shortages to Management immediately. Ensure effective communication between crew, Supervisors, and ManagersGenerate weekly schedules for technical staff in collaboration with Stage Supervisors and contractors to meet the needs of the departmentProvide instruction to technicians on venue specific policies and other relevant technical skills as needed Abide by all Canada’s Wonderland policies and procedures as set out by the Park and the Entertainment Department. duties as required.
