VENUE/PROPERTY INFODenny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is consistently ranked as the #1 entertainment venue in the state. Our venue boasts a full calendar of events including concerts, comedy shows, family shows, sporting events, banquets, conventions, trade shows, meetings, and more. With the attached Convention Center and Arena, we are the largest venue between Omaha and Fargo, and from Minneapolis to Denver.
THE ROLEThe Premium Seating Manager reports to the General Manager and oversees all event service and operation activities for luxury suites and premium seating.
RESPONSIBILITIESManages premium services team during specific events to resolve customer-related issues.
Responsible for contract renewals and sales of open inventory.
Gains knowledge of Suite/Loge clientele to provide excellent customer service.
Works in conjunction with the Box Office to build and manage the ticketing of premium seating.
Determines availability and pricing on an event-by-event basis for additional premium seating.
Plans and monitors Club Members’ special events and gifts regarding suite and seat holders.
Trains and manages premium services team.
Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing all service and operation policies, procedures and programs.
Administers premium services that include VIP parking and VIP add-on programs.
Assists in the development and coordination of special events and value-added programs for Club members & Suite Holders.
Serves as a liaison with other event staff affecting the suite levels, including Security, Operations, Event Services, Food & Beverage departments and teams.
Provides on-going communication and problem resolution to customers throughout the events and daily contact on issues dealing with event announcements, ticketing issues, account changes, suite décor and maintenance.
Monitors and makes recommendations for suite inventory and major maintenance of suites.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly supervises a team of part-time team members.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in business administration and/or other degree related to Public Relations and Hospitality.
Minimum of 2-3 years’ management experience in customer service with excellent communication skills.
Minimum of 1 year industry related experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIESProficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with ticketing software preferred.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to handle multiple tasks at a time.
Ability to work independently, exercise judgement and initiative.
Good communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
Excellent customer service and public relation skills.
Ability to work event hours, including nights and weekends.
Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
