    Job Description

    The Kansas City Mavericks are looking to fill the Sales & Marketing Coordinator position. The ideal individual will have a professional demeanor, with the ability to communicate clearly to executives at all levels (both internally and externally). Candidate will be detail oriented, well organized, and have the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines. The ability to work independently by taking initiative, recommending solutions, and making informed decisions is a must. Job Description & Essential Functions:Manage in-house corporate sponsorship contracts and maintain a positive relationshipOversee and execute mid-season and end of season partner recapsBe a strategic thinker, acting as a consultant for Mavericks corporate partners, showing knowledge and expertise in their respective categoriesAssist in the detailed coordination of multiple high-profile events and game day experiencesPromote and execute theme nights and other promotions during the seasonServe as the primary internal and external contact for execution and fulfillment of assigned partnership agreements for partnership growthCreate added value and up-sell opportunities for existing Corporate PartnersTrack and compile appropriate metrics that demonstrate ROI, ROE, and growth opportunities for Kansas City Mavericks corporate partnersWork in accordance with Mavericks partners to create awareness and financial growth for assigned charitable organizations through events, auctions, chuck-a-puckCoordinate and Fulfill Programs; including, but not limited to events, auctions, and in-game experiencesPlan and execute Street Team events, manage Street Team members and mascot at external events, grow KC Mavericks brand via co-branded events with local partnersOther duties as assigned or neededQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree from four-year college or universityAvailability and willingness to work ALL Kansas City Mavericks home games and assigned eventsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc. skillsSelf-starter, with ability to work independently or as part of a teamWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
