    Account Executive – Group SalesLynchburg Hillcats Class A Affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians 2025 Carolina League ChampionsJob SummaryThe Lynchburg Hillcats are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Group Sales Account Executive to join our Ticket Sales department. This full-time position is responsible for generating ticket revenue through group sales and mini plans, while providing exceptional service to our fans, partners, and community. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and face-to-face networking, and who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. An ideal start date is January, with opportunity for growth within the organization. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business through outbound sales efforts including cold calls, emails, referrals, and networking eventsSell group tickets and mini plans to businesses, schools, non-profits, and community organizationsBuild, maintain, and grow long-term client relationshipsAccurately track sales activity, leads, and customer information using SCORE CRM and TicketReturnCoordinate group outings and assist with execution of game-day set upDeliver high-level customer service before, during, and after eventsRepresent the Lynchburg Hillcats professionally at community events, and networking functionsAssist with additional ticket sales and departmental initiatives as assignedQualifications & SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with a wide range of clientsSales-driven mindset with comfort in prospecting, negotiating, and closing dealsStrong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilitiesAbility to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and prioritiesComfortable working in a dynamic, event-driven environment with shifting prioritiesPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in ticket sales, sales, customer service, hospitality, or event managementFamiliarity with CRM platforms and/or ticketing softwareInterest in sports, baseball, or the live entertainment industryPosition DetailsPosition Type: Full-timeDepartment: Ticket SalesReports To: Director of Ticket SalesStart Date: January (preferred)Growth Opportunity: YesSalary Range: $30,000-$38,000 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
