Merchandise Assistant

The Merchandise Assistant will report directly to the Merchandise Manager and play a key role in the day-to-day execution of the Team Store. This position is highly operational, with a primary focus on inventory replenishment, restocking, and e-commerce fulfillment/customer service. You will work closely alongside another Merchandise Assistant, collaborating daily to keep the store stocked, organized, and running efficiently. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone who enjoys staying busy, keeping things organized, and working behind the scenes to keep the store running smoothly. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:● Restock and maintain the sales floor throughout the day to ensure product is always available and presented correctly● Monitor inventory levels and proactively replenish product from backstock● Assist with receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory in storage areas● Fulfill online orders daily (pick, pack, and ship) with accuracy and efficiency● Manage customer service for online orders, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience● Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and flagging low stock items for restocking● Keep the stockroom and sales floor clean, organized, and operational● Support game day operations, including restocking during games and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced environment● Assist with basic merchandising (folding, sizing, straightening displays)● Other duties as assignedQualifications:● Strong attention to detail and organization● Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment● Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed● Strong communication and customer service skills (especially for online customers)● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods● Retail or e-commerce experience preferred, but not requiredCompensation: $1,200/monthAdditional Information: This role follows a schedule similar to full-time staff, including game nights, weekends, and holidays. experience in sports We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
