Company: WinterWorld RichmondLocation: CarMax Park, Richmond, VA (On-site)Job Type: Temporary, SeasonalSeason Dates: November 16, 2026 – January 3, 2027Reports To: Guest Service SupervisorAbout WinterWorldWinterWorld is seeking enthusiastic Event Staff to bring our inaugural 39-day winter festival to life and create memorable guest experiences at CarMax Park. about WinterWorld, and help maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment throughout each event. ResponsibilitiesGreet and engage guests with a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused demeanor. Scan and verify attraction tickets at Ice Pond/Trail, Ice Slide, and Ferris Wheel, ensuring efficient and accurate guest admission. Assist guests in locating the various attractions and spaces at WinterWorld efficiently and courteously. Provide accurate information and proactive assistance regarding WinterWorld and event operations. Maintain orderly concourse and field entry/exit flow to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience. Collaborate with Security, Event Operations, and Guest Experience leadership to promptly address and resolve guest concerns. Identify guests requiring additional assistance, including accessibility support, lost and found issues, or medical needs, and respond in accordance with established procedures. Monitor assigned areas for safety, cleanliness, and compliance with WinterWorld policies and procedures. Assist with pre-event preparation and post-event breakdown as assigned. Qualifications & SkillsDemonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional in fast-paced or high-pressure environments. Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, event operations, or a stadium, arena, or live entertainment venue is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physically capable of standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the event. Benefits & Compensation Competitive seasonal salary.
