Event Sponsorship Sales Intern (Unpaid/Remote/Open to Full-Time or Part-Time)

ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing an assigned account on behalf of SSEC (Assigned client delivers hundreds of grassroots community events led by top professional and collegiate athletes nationwide)Oversee event sponsorship sales for a specific region of the country and research and identify potential sales targets, create sales lists, and conduct email outreach to secure meetings and pitch event sponsorship opportunitiesReceive training and development from SSEC senior staff on the sponsorship sales cycle including introductory calls, ideation and creation of sponsorship proposals, and other necessary tasks leading to closing of dealsHelp manage sales pipeline reports and company CRMWork independently and autonomously as needed Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisor as needed including agency events, etc. QualificationsEntrepreneurial mindset “Go-Getter” mentalityStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPassion for sponsorship/sports marketingOverall desire to succeed in salesProficiency in MS Office Programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or similar presentation software)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPrior internship experience preferred, but not requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerSSEC is an equal opportunity employer.
