Job Profile Summary:Directs operational budget development and maintenance, and monitoring compliance and athlete eligibility for an intercollegiate athletics program to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the program. Job Description:The Senior Manager, Partnership Activation will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution of marketing assets, and day-to-day management of assigned partnership account for Sun Devil Athletics. The Senior Manager, Partnership Activation acts as the liaison between partners and/or their agencies and internal departments of Sun Devil Athletics and Arizona State University. This position reports to the Director, Partnership Activation. Adheres to NCAA and rules and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures of the department, the university and the Arizona Board of Regents. Position Salary Range:$65,000Essential Duties:Manage a portfolio of accounts with ongoing communication, planning of each account’s overall activation strategy, and execution of marketing assetsCollaborate with sales colleagues to ensure a full understanding of partner marketing objectives and strategic prioritiesCoordinate the fulfillment of partner marketing assets with other Sun Devil Athletics and Arizona State University departmentsConduct regular status meetings or calls with each account to provide detailed proof of performance reports and continually evaluate the effectiveness of the partnershipProvide hospitality to partners and their guests at athletic events and department eventsTrack expenses and manage budgets relating to the execution of accountsTake an active role in account renewalsMaintain and update client service related elements within CRM systemsOversee the department’s internship programServe as the department’s primary contact to the Sun Devil Athletics’ digital team for thescheduling and execution of all partner social media, email and other digital assetsOther duties as assigned. Travel as requiredDesired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing or a related field4+ years of experience in a partnership role in collegiate athletics or professional sportsAbility to prioritize workload, manage time and projects, and demonstrate flexibilityAbility to communicate professionally and effectively both written and orally, and with persons at multiple levelsComputer proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and Adobe Creative SuiteAvailable to work evenings and weekends as neededAbility to travel as required (typically 1-3 trips per year)Working Environment:Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse. Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions. Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals.
