The opportunityDelaware North Boston Holdings is hiring a full-time Facilities Manager to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Facilities Manager ensures the efficient and safe operation of TD Garden by overseeing all aspects of building infrastructure and maintenance. This includes managing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems, coordinating in-house trades and contractors, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal codes. The role is critical in maintaining a high-quality environment for co-workers and guests while delivering timely repairs and capital projects. Ensure an efficient and safe environment for co-workers and guests. Compliance with all local, state, and federal codes. Successful and timely completion of building repairs and capital projects. Direct and manage all facility operational functions and personnel related to environment, preventive maintenance, energy management, maintenance projects and repairs at TD Garden. Monitor the implementation of building preventive maintenance programs. Utilize 24/7 CMMS to track and complete work orders and PM tasks. Oversee the various trades persons assigned to TD Garden including electricians, HVAC, plumbing, and others as needed, focusing on safe work procedures, job quality, and proper training. Manage contractors and other third party agencies working in the arena. Organize and coordinate all local, state, and federal environmental permitting. Assist in the management and maintenance sustainability programs and document. Serve as the arena’s Green Path Coordinator. Ensure all required permits meet local, state, and federal guidelines. Utilize third party contractors to assist in managing, improving, and sustainability programs. Safety and Compliance: Adherence to all local, state, and federal codes and regulations. Timely completion of building repairs and capital projects. Effective implementation and monitoring of preventive maintenance programs using CMMS. Ensure High standards in contractor and in-house trade work, meeting job specifications and Delaware North standards. Successful execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including Green Path coordination. More about you3-5 years of applicable experienceBachelors degree, OSHA or NFPA certifications are a plusEngineering and facility maintenance. Strong knowledge of BMS/BAS and CMMS systems. Experience with management of trades, particularly electricians, HVAC, and plumbing. Management of a sports facility, hotel, university, or comparable building. Communication with contractors and local/state agencies. Energy efficiency and sustainability. Skilled in organizing and managing maintenance projects, contractors, and permitting processes. Ability to lead and develop relationships trades personnel, foster collaboration, and ensure proper training. Capable of addressing challenges proactively and making informed decisions.
