RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise the day-to-day event operations and staffing of an assigned client siteManage a team of event supervisors and event staff including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support, discipline, and terminationsBuild, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client and employeesCoordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer serviceEnsure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are metAssure regular communication of issues or event with our clientHandle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriatelyCommunicate staffing needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidatesDevelop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)Assure communication of policies, company announcements and job openings through a consistently updated READ file at each siteMeet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtimeCoordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for event security and event staff personnel, as well as meet Allied Universal’s corporate training standardsDevelop and maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific post orders are always available for emergency reference by the event staffManage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklistsTake a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting their needs; meet regularly, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions; ensure complete customer satisfactionCapably utilize ABI and WinTeam for scheduling and billing, and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, invoice Aging by tiers, Training Summary and Training Detail reports) that require interpretation and action for effective business managementEnforce Allied Universal Event Services policies as outlined in the handbooks, executive memos and on the portalAttend client meetings, security meetings, and event walk-through(s)Ensure all staff is debriefed properly and prepared for each eventPrepare and disseminate event post orders to each employee working each event as assigned venue/eventEnsure all labor laws are being adhered to (rest and meal periods executed per law, check-in/check-out procedure is followed, etc.)Promote Grooming and Appearance Policy by looking professional and appropriate at all times and enforcing that policy within the ranksMaintain constant communication with direct manager regarding client issues or concerns, employee performance issues, guest complaints, injuries, or other important facts related to account/event assignedCreate venue dot maps deployment sheets, show grids, etc. Complete and submit all paperwork (incident reports, workers compensation filings, etc. requirementsEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
