Head Coach (USL League 2)

Cedar Stars Academy Soccer Club with divisions in New Jersey & New York is looking for a Head Coach for its Cedar Stars USL 2 team which competes in USL League 2. experience with youth (ages 16-18) and/or collegiate soccer. This is a seasonal position as our season runs from May 1st - July 16th 2027 (Not including if the team makes playoffs). ResponsibilitiesThe Head coach is responsible for leading and supporting the team in consultation with the Sporting Director and in accordance with Cedar Stars Academy vision, values and philosophyDirectly responsible for the management and coaching of the team under the guidance of the Sporting Director during the training sessions and games. Coordinates and prepares sessions in accordance with Cedar Stars Academy Game Model and philosophy. Responsible for Roster selection for the 2027 USL 2 season. responsibilities for all sessions. Responsible for attending and leading all matches (home and away) and managing USL 2 staff with game preparations and game day operations. Develop a positive working relationship with the players and provide feedback throughout the season regarding their performance. Availability for 3 times a week training session. Qualifications and ExperienceOver the age of 18Minimum USSF 'B' or equivalent coaching licenseCoaching experience with youth players from the ages of 16-18 or older and/or previous playing experience. Experience Preferred)Applicants to hold a full driver's license and have reliable means of transport.
