    About Zebulon CPL BaseballThe team in Zebulon will be a proud member of the Coastal Plain League. The CPL is a 15 team Collegiate Summer Baseball League ranging from Virginia to Georgia. The Zebulon Team is a CPL Expansion team that will have an Australian angle that will focus on affordable family entertainment, with a quality baseball product on the field. OverviewThe Baseball Operations Manager oversees all baseball operations for the CPL franchise, including stadium maintenance, game-day logistics, food and beverage management, and supervision of seasonal employees. This role ensures that games and events run smoothly while maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for fans, teams, and staff. Job TasksBaseball & Stadium Operations• Manage daily operations and logistics of the CPL ballpark or assigned venue. requirements; secure all relevant permits and licenses. experience. Other Responsibilities• Approach all duties with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude.•Actively contribute ideas during staff meetings to support fan-base growth.•Assist with stadium setup, décor, and operational needs as part of an all-hands-on-deck front office culture.•Represent the organization professionally at community events and appearances.•Assist with team laundry needs throughout the season, including players, coaches, and mascots. Qualifications• Prior experience in sports facility or stadium operations (Minor League Baseball, collegiate athletics, or similar preferred). Experience managing diverse teams of seasonal and part-time employees.• Strong ability to interact with the public and handle challenging situations professionally.• Working knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical maintenance principles.• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and work in outdoor conditions, including extreme weather.• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with the baseball schedule. Physical Demands• Ability to stand for extended periods.• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds over distances of at least 25 yards.• Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and perform essential verbal and auditory communication tasks.• Safely operate tools and equipment required for stadium operations.• Work safely in and around moving machinery and loud environments.
