Rate: $22.75 / hour to startThe Moscone Center has an immediate opening for an Elevator Operator under the B-18 Theatrical Employees Union to operate freight elevators on the loading docks. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operates elevator to transport materials equipment between floors on loading docks. responsibilities as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS:• High School Graduate or GED• Dependable and reliable• Must be courteous and friendly• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English• Able to complete assignments with minimal supervision• Ability to follow instructions• Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs• Requires standing and sitting throughout the shift• Must be flexible to work any shifts, days and hours, including holidays and weekendsSCHEDULING EXPECTATIONS:• Elevator Operators are scheduled based on operational needs and seniority; hours are not consistent or guaranteed.• This would be a good position for someone who is in school or has another part time job that has a consistent schedule.
