Job DescriptionUmpires are responsible for understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. This is a part-time role, great for anyone who likes being outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income. Responsibilities:Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all playersUnderstand and kindly and fairly enforce kickball rulesCommunicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc. QualificationsMust be 21+ years of age or olderPrior umpire experience requiredMust have reliable transportation to and from field locationsMust be able to pass Volo referee certification testMust be available to work Sunday Afternoons for a minimum of eight weeks per league cycleWhat We Look For:People with a passion for sports and social activitiesMust value punctuality and professionalismExperience in diffusing challenging situations a plusVolo is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that proudly pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
