ABOUT The Georgia Swarm Professional Lacrosse Organization is an esteemed member of the National Lacrosse League and the leading box lacrosse team in the greater Atlanta region. Location: Gas South Arena – Duluth, GA Employment Type: Seasonal, Part-Time Compensation: $ Hourly Schedule: Required to work all Georgia Swarm home games (December–May) plus approximately 3–8+ hours per week on non-game days as needed. EXPECTATIONS: Are you a highly organized and proactive individual with a passion for retail and a knack for leadership? RESPONSIBILITIES: Seasonal position requiring attendance at all Georgia Swarm home games (December–May), plus approximately 3–8 hours per week during non-game days for inventory management, online order fulfillment, and merchandise preparation as needed. Act as the primary point of contact and communication between the management team and all other merchandise associates, disseminating information and ensuring alignment. Take the lead on accurate inventory counts, maintaining meticulous records, and identifying discrepancies. Ensure all merchandise is logically organized, neatly presented, and easily accessible within storage areas and on the sales floor. Efficiently pull and prepare merchandise for sale as needed, ensuring timely replenishment on game days and other events. Play a key role in the setup and teardown of merchandise displays and sales areas for all game days and special events. Proactively monitor and manage merchandise operations on game days, anticipating needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of sales. Serve as the primary point of contact for merchandise associates, providing communication, training, and operational support throughout the season. Identify and address any operational challenges or bottlenecks to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction. Must work all games throughout the season (Dec. – May), a flexible schedule is also a must Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting fans, answering questions, and assisting with merchandise selection. Operate the Square point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit card payments. Learning the loaded ticket functions and other promotional discounts for eligible customers Superior product knowledge of all brands and materials while ensuring that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customers' needs Other duties, functions, and special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the manager Have reliable transportation to and from work for all games Pick, pack, and fulfill Georgia Swarm online merchandise orders while maintaining shipping accuracy and timely delivery. REQUIREMENTS: Previous retail, merchandise, inventory, or customer service experience preferred.
