For more information, please visit our website www.csc-usa.com GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:The Long Beach Account Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of CSC's event services across all Long Beach entities, including the Convention Center, Amphitheater, and city-wide events. This position is tasked with fostering high-level client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the seamless execution of the Long Beach contract. This role oversees account strategy, staffing plans, tactical deployments, and event cost estimates. The Account Manager drives continuity through Event Manager succession planning and mentorship. They maintain a consistent presence during major events to provide oversight and proactive risk mitigation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages CSC’s footprint at Long Beach and develops new business opportunities with the organization. Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with all Long Beach, identifying their needs and exceeding their expectations. Serve as the principal liaison between Long Beach and CSC Management Teams. Must attend meetings and/or serve on committees as the face of the organization, with the ability to speak on behalf of CSC as it relates to Long Beach Events and visitor safety for emergency situations. Proactively identify and address potential client issues. Coordinates the organization of staffing plans, deployments, and event estimates for events related to the Long Beach account. Create, edit, or maintain branch-specific event manager training curriculums, operational guidelines, and other content specific to Long Beach. Create, manage, or edit event manager continuity plans, venue operation manuals, standard operating procedures, or other policy-driven mandates and guidelines. Will be present at all major events with the ability to mitigate any potential issues that may arise. Identifies legal requirements and government regulations regarding training functions to ensure policies, procedures, and documentation follow local/state/federal reporting processes. Manages weekly calendar of events occurring within the Long Beach campus and surrounding Community to coordinate resource allocation wherever necessary. Travels to various job sites to provide field assistance; assists with additional projects and other branch-related assignments. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLSGeneral knowledge of computer operation, Microsoft Office Products; Must become proficient in company Workforce Management System. Ability to maintain good client/customer relations and work in a team setting. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, applicants, customers, or organization. skills. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment and make sound decisions quickly. REQUIREMENTS: As a nationwide organization with involvement in many of the world's premier events, the Account Manager may be asked to travel to other branch locations and provide management assistance for such events.
