Part Time Matchday Operations Staff

The Part Time Matchday Operations Staff supports the successful execution of San Diego FC match days and events by assisting with stadium operations, equipment handling, event setup and breakdown, branding installation, locker room preparation, and fan experience initiatives. ResponsibilitiesEquipment handling such as the loading and unloading of trucks of equipment and assisting in inventory managementExecute overall setup of San Diego FC specific elements of the stadium for match day, including camera platforms, Capo stands, VIP entries and holding roomsSet up equipment in locker rooms, ensuring that all necessary items are prepared for players and coaching staffInstall temporary branding throughout the stadium for each match, including signage and promotional materialsPrepare player benches and technical areas, ensuring they are ready for the matchAssist in set up of all match day initiatives like gate giveaways and group experiencesAssist in building and setting up LED field boards and other visual displaysWork closely with other team members to coordinate efforts and ensure smooth operations on match dayCoordinate with other SDFC departments to ensure successful event planning and executionAssist with the breakdown of equipment, branding and locker room materials and load into trucks after each matchAssist with the set up and breakdown of match day fan fest and other potential eventsQualificationsStrong organizational and time management skills. duties, often changing from one task or another, without the loss of efficiency of composureAbility to lift heavy equipment, use tools and work in various weather conditions over the course of a full event (8-10 hours)Previous experience in event setup, conversions or operations is preferred, but not requiredExcellent teamwork and communication skillsAvailability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.d We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
