This is a unique role that combines a number of unique functions. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial processes and analytics to drive informed decision-making throughout the business. This position will support all aspects of the Treasury activities, including cash management, banking relationships and managing the cash forecasting process as well as be a key contributor to business related analytics, royalty accounting and sales tax reporting. This position will also lead specific projects from the planning stage through implementation to enhance the finance department’s functionality. The position is located in our headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid option and will report to the Assistant Controller.#FranklinFamilyIN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL:Cash Management and banking analysis and administrationResearch and communicate reconciliation variances discovered during financial close processParticipate in monthly and annual closingCalculate and book monthly general journal entries as assignedCommissions reporting and general journal entriesFixed assets and maintenance of subledgerRoyalty accounting Evaluate new banking products and services to facilitate change within the organizationDevelop, coordinate, input and manage the weekly cash forecasting process Provide various ad-hoc analysis as requested by the management teamWorking capital analysis; develop new and enhance existing reporting to improve key metrics, such as overdue outstanding and Days Sales Outstanding; etc. Lead and participate in assigned finance projects Coordinate necessary training for successful project completionResponsible for Sales Tax reporting Other projects as assignedWHO YOU ARE:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required ERP System knowledge5+ years of experience in treasury/cash management or banking fieldRoyalty Accounting experience desiredGeneral accounting experience preferredSales Tax Reporting strongly desired WHAT YOU HAVE DONE/ESSENTIAL TO THE ROLE:Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detailAdvanced computer user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), as well as general ledger and reporting toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong project lead skills and process improvement experienceAbility to manage multiple priorities and juggle between daily, weekly, monthly demandsAble to work independentlyAbility to work well under pressure and able to work cross functionally with all levels in the organizationLEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:Interact independently with internal and external parties, has the knowledge to make independent decisions.
