Job Description
Program PurposeThe Game Operations Internship is designed for students interested in sports operations, event management, and soccer administration.
experience working with competitive teams while supporting game day operations and fan engagement.
Interns work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure smooth, professional, and memorable experiences for players, fans, and partners at all Glens home matches. This role is ideal for candidates pursuing careers in sports management, event operations, or athletic administration.
Schedule ExpectationsCandidates should be available to work in person a few days per week and must be available to attend the majority of home matches (approximately 12) to support game day operations. Some evening and weekend availability will be required during the season.

Home matches are played at San Francisco Glens Stadium, 620 Ave I, San Francisco, CA 94130.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Game Operations Intern will assist the Director of Operations with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:Supporting the planning and execution of game day operations, including run-of-show, vendor coordination, and in-game entertainmentAssisting with ticketing operations, including setup, sales, and fan assistance at entry pointsSelling and managing merchandise and concessions while delivering excellent customer serviceAssisting with stadium and field setup, breakdown, and overall event logisticsManaging equipment and supporting apparel distribution processesProviding on-site event support to help create a professional, welcoming, and seamless fan experienceAssisting with sponsorship activations and promotional elements on matchdaysSupporting front office administrative tasks and league protocol requirementsCollaborating with internal departments to ensure full matchday readinessPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of youth sports and the U.
