Position OverviewThe Photography Intern will assist in capturing and producing engaging photo content for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Riveters throughout the fall.

Please note: This internship is unpaid, and candidates must be actively enrolled in a college or university program that allows them to receive academic credit for the internship.
ResponsibilitiesCapture photo content during matchdays, training sessions, community events, and club activationsEdit and deliver photos for use across social media, digital platforms, marketing materials, and in-stadium displaysCollaborate with the marketing and communications teams to execute creative content ideas and meet deadlinesHelp maintain a consistent visual style aligned with club brandingOrganize, caption, and archive photo galleries and image filesAssist with player, staff, and promotional photo shoots as neededQualificationsCurrent college student pursuing a degree in photography, communications, marketing, journalism, media, or a related fieldAccess to personal photography equipment, including a DSLR or mirrorless camera and editing-capable computer, is requiredEligible to receive college academic credit for the internshipExperience photographing sports, events, or live-action subjectsProficiency with Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, or similar photo editing softwareAbility to work on-site during regular office hours, as well as nights, weekends, and matchdaysStrong understanding of composition, storytelling, and visual content creationExperience in a fast-paced environment such as sports, news, or live events is a plusStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentReliable, professional, and comfortable working around athletes, staff, and fansWhat You'll GainReal-world experience with a professional sports organizationHands-on opportunities in sports photography and content creationPortfolio-building work published across club platformsMentorship from experienced marketing and media professionalsAcademic credit through your college or university programHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a resume, brief cover letter, and a portfolio or samples of relevant photography work.
