Overview:Under moderate supervision, the Full-Time Security Host is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and controlled environment throughout Angel Stadium and associated parking areas. This role serves as a 24/7 loss prevention and security specialist, supporting Front Office operations and ensuring strict compliance with MLB and Angels Baseball policies, procedures, and security standards.
This position is also benefit eligible including: medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K eligibility; employee contributions after 3 months, employer matching and safe harbor after 1 year and 1000 hours of employment. Additional perks include paid holidays, sick days, vacation accrual (2 weeks vacation), and tickets to games. The expected salary for this position can range from $21.00/per hour-$23.00/per hour.
Duties:Security Operations, Loss Prevention and MonitoringEnforce all Angels Baseball and MLB policies, procedures, and security protocolsAssist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for players, employees, and guestsSupport and coordinate daily and event-based security operations across stadium and parking areasEnsure compliance with all MLB-issued security guidelines, reference materials, and directivesProvide 24/7 loss prevention support, including:Conducting routine and targeted inspections of stadium areas and equipmentIdentifying and reporting vulnerabilities, risks, and suspicious activityMonitoring areas via CCTV and capturing footageAssist with security assessments, audits, and operational reviewsStadium Access & CredentialingSupport the management of stadium access control systems and credential programsAssist with device management, access permissions, and troubleshooting solutionsMonitor and help enforce proper credential usage across all access pointsIncident Reporting & DocumentationDocument all security-related incidents, activities, and observationsPrepare and distribute detailed reports in a timely mannerMaintain accurate daily security logs as assignedEvent & Facility Security SupportOversee and assist with stadium closure operations for all events, including:Equipment collection and inspectionDocumentation and reportingCoordination with overnight staffProvide operational support to security personnel during events and non-event daysAct as a liaison with Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire Department as needed for incidents requiring emergency response or supportGuest Services & Support FunctionsAssist with lost and found operations, including item recovery and claims processingMaintain a professional and helpful presence when interacting with guests and staffQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree preferred1–3 years of experience in security, loss prevention, or event operationsStrong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressureExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationshipsStrong observational and critical thinking skills, especially in emergency situationsAbility to assess situations quickly and provide clear, accurate directionHighly motivated, self-directed, and detail-orientedProfessional demeanor with the ability to interact with diverse populationsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight (graveyard) shiftsValid driver’s license requiredPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periodsAbility to navigate stairs, ramps, and various stadium environmentsAbility to occasionally squat, kneel, and climbAbility to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditionsAbility to work in loud, high-traffic environmentsAbility to frequently lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
