Ticket Sales Intern (Paid – Seasonal)Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRidersThe Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ticket Sales Interns for the upcoming season.
experience in professional sports sales while working within a fast-paced Minor League Baseball environment.
Ticket Sales Interns will assist the RailRiders’ ticketing department with day-to-day sales operations while gaining exposure to group sales, fan engagement, and revenue-generating initiatives. This role is ideal for college students interested in pursuing a career in sports sales, business development, or sports management.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the ticketing department with ticket sales initiatives and outreach effortsSupport the sales team with group ticket sales and promotional packagesMake outbound calls and emails to potential customers and community groupsAssist with lead generation and sales trackingHelp manage incoming ticket inquiries and customer questionsProvide excellent customer service to fans and clientsAssist with game day ticket sales and fan engagement activitiesSupport ticket sales staff with administrative and operational tasksMaintain accurate records within ticketing and CRM systemsQualificationsCurrent college student pursuing a degree in sports management, business, marketing, or a related field preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsInterest in sales, customer service, and the sports industryStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBasic computer proficiency and willingness to learn ticketing and CRM systemsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAvailability to work game days, evenings, weekends, and occasional weekdaysSales ExperiencePrevious sales experience is not required.
