Job Title: Graphic Designer Intern Department: Marketing & Communications Location: Greenville, SC (In-Office) Reports To: Graphic Designer Compensation: Unpaid — For Academic Credit Only About Greenville Triumph SC Greenville Triumph SC is a professional soccer club competing in USL League One.
Overview Greenville Triumph SC is seeking a creative Graphic Design intern to support the broader marketing ecosystem, including communications, ticketing, partnerships, and matchday operations.
Responsibilities Creative & Design Conceptualize and produce visual content for digital, print, and environmental applications including signage, stadium graphics, and partner activations Develop campaign creative supporting ticket sales, partner promotions, community initiatives, and fan engagement Produce scalable templates and assets across channels including web banners, email graphics, social media, and ads Help maintain and evolve the club's visual identity standards across all deliverables Web & Digital Experience Update and manage website content through WordPress, ensuring visuals are optimized for performance and brand consistency Assist with landing pages, ticket promotions, partner pages, and dynamic web content aligned with campaign goals Social Media & Content Strategy Design engaging social media assets optimized for platform best practices and performance Support short-form content storytelling through graphics, motion loops, and visual layouts Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Ticketing, Partnerships, Communications, and Operations teams to ensure creative supports strategic business objectives Assist in integrating design into email campaigns, sponsorship deliverables, event signage, and matchday visuals Collaborate with photographers and video producers on visual assets for media use Qualifications & Skills Required Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field Ability to receive academic credit for this internship (required) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Working knowledge of WordPress or another CMS platform Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, layout, and color Experience creating visuals for social media with a sense of what performs well across platforms Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience with video editing or motion graphics tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro) Previous exposure to ticketing campaign graphics, partner assets, or stadium signage Prior coursework or project work in sports marketing, fan engagement, or brand identity What You'll Bring A portfolio showcasing design versatility and creative problem-solving Enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork and iterative creative development Flexibility to support matchday, event, and promotional deadlines Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed What You'll Gain Real-world design experience with a professional sports organization A portfolio of published work across digital, print, and experiential platforms Mentorship from an experienced marketing and communications team Full exposure to brand campaigns from concept through execution Supervisor documentation and evaluations to support your institution's credit requirements Compensation This is an unpaid internship offered for academic credit only.
