Turf Construction Technician

Position Summary: Our sister company RS3 Turf is seeking a strong Turf Technician. The Technician is responsible for the maintenance, installation, and upkeep of landscaped areas and turf systems. experience with landscaping equipment, the ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments, and strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results. Travel is included in the role. Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in landscaping, turf management, grounds maintenance, construction, or a related field Proven experience operating commercial landscaping equipment and tools Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and repair Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities: Operate commercial landscaping equipment, including mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, and leaf blowers Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and debris removal Assist with installation of landscaping elements such as sod, plants, mulch, and stone Conduct irrigation system repairs and routine maintenance Safely operate power tools and light machinery, including skid steers (if applicable) Manage and execute assigned projects while adhering to timelines and quality standards Identify and adapt to changing site conditions, addressing issues as they arise Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials such as sod, stone, and equipment Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks including digging, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods Ability to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain Core Competencies: Strong work ethic and reliability Attention to detail and commitment to quality Problem-solving and adaptability in field conditions Knowledge of safe power tool operation and job site safety practicesWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
