Job DescriptionWhen you accept a position with Volo, you’ll be joining a passionate, driven group of innovators within the social sports industry. Hosts serve as representatives for Volo and its subsidiaries at facilities and bars and are the main point of contact for our players in leagues. This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company. If you’re ready to embark on a career that will impact your life and your community while having lots of fun in the process, keep scrolling … Social Host responsibilities include, but not limited to:Serve as a representative for Volo at venues and barsIncluding but not limited to Kickball and bar games(Cornhole, Skeeball, Flip Cup, Bowling)Update league scores in our user interfacePromote events and upcoming leagues with on-field sellingHelp distribute marketing materialsEncourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the leagueMust be available at least 2 days per week from 5:45pm-10:30pm for at least eight weeksSet up & take down fields and /or Bar set up Use our Volo Host app to check in players as needed Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the leagueMake players meet & feel welcomeBuild relationship with bartendersMust-HavesInterest in sports and social activitiesStrong attention to detailExcellent oral communication skillsWorks well in a team atmosphereAbility to multi-task and make decisions under pressureAbility to lift and carry 30-50 poundsPossess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearlyMust be available to work evenings and/or weekendsProficient customer service skillsHigh School Diploma / GED Equivalency A car or access to transportationStaff PerksDiscounts on Leagues and Volo Pass Memberships: Staff receive discounts on leagues and memberships, with some leagues potentially being free.
