Summer Finance Intern

The Washington Commanders are looking for a Finance Intern to support our Finance department throughout Summer 2026. responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general accounting/finance procedures and special projects. Major duties and responsibilities:Work on monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysisAssist with month-end reconciliationsAssist in tracking status of Capital expenditure projects for the current stadium and training facilitySupport department with various ad-hoc projectsLearn about a variety of accounting and finance activitiesPerform data entry and analysis Qualifications:Student working toward a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related fieldAbility to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period and be in person Monday through ThursdayBasic understanding of financial concepts and accounting principlesEnthusiastic, proactive, flexible, adaptable, and attentive to detailExceptional organizational skills with the ability to document and manage accurate, timely information Ability to work independently or as part of a team and take direction effectivelyExcellent communication skills required, both written and verbalAbove average computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPrior experience in an office environment preferred If you meet the qualifications listed above, please apply online with a resume and cover letter We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
