About The Nighthawks:The Upper Valley Nighthawks are a collegiate summer baseball team based in White River Junction, Vermont, competing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL).s Responsibilities: Assist in the setup, operation, and teardown of broadcast and streaming equipment for all home gamesOperate camera systems, ensuring steady shots, smooth pans, and proper framingSupport on-screen graphics and scoreboard integration during live streamsHelp manage audio levels and technical quality control throughout broadcastsCollaborate with the play-by-play and production teams to ensure seamless broadcast deliveryAssist with postgame video editing and uploading to league and team platformsMaintain organized storage of video assets, cables, and production gearProvide creative input on improving the viewing experience and presentation qualityAssist Director of Broadcasting with other tasks as neededRequirements: Currently enrolled in Broadcasting, Communications, Film, or a related majorFamiliarity with camera or technical equipment strongly preferred, but not requiredBasic understanding of camera operation, audio equipment, and video productionStrong attention to detail, focus, and time management skillsAbility to problem-solve quickly and work under pressure during live eventsEffective teamwork and communication skillsWillingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the seasonBaseball knowledge or prior sports production experience is a plusBenefits:Housing providedGym membership includedMeals after every home game, and additional meals from local restaurantsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
