eSports & Experiential Sponsorship Sales Intern (REMOTE POSITION: January through April)

SSEC specializes in representing, building, and selling sponsorships for a diverse clientele, including National Governing Bodies, Sports Events, Sports Leagues, and other events and organizations. Responsibilities· Assist in managing assigned accounts on behalf of SSEC (Clients specialize in producing turnkey experiential marketing programs at youth sports events and operating scholastic gaming/esports competitions spanning middle school, high school, and colleges nationwide)· Research and identify potential sales targets, create sales lists, and conduct email outreach to secure meetings and pitch client sponsorship programs· Receive training and development from SSEC senior staff on the sponsorship sales process, including introductory calls, potential sponsor meetings, and the creation of sponsorship sales presentations and proposals· Work independently and autonomously as needed· Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisor as needed including agency events, etc. Qualifications· Entrepreneurial mindset · “Go-Getter” mentallity· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail· Passion for prospecting, sales outreach, and marketing ideation· Overall desire to succeed in sales· Proficient in PowerPoint or similar presentation software· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Prior internship or entry-level experience preferred, but not requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerSSEC is an equal opportunity employer.
