    Job Description

    Job Purpose: The Dallas Wings communication staff is excited to announce an opening for a Game Night Staff position for the upcoming season. about working in professional sports. Game Night Staff are responsible for handling, preparing, and executing all elements in support of Wings game days for the 2026 WNBA season. about five hours for each home game (arrive two-and-a-half hours before each game) Assist with press area operations during games Label seats, post media seating charts, and photo lane chartsDistribute media credentials and photo arm bands at media check-inCollect photo arm bands after each gameSupport pre- and post-game press conferences, as well as other media availabilitiesPrint and distribute stat sheetsAnswer questions from media members at games and direct them to full-time staff for guidance Required Skills, Experience and Abilities: College juniors, seniors, or recent graduates, or equivalent experience. Must be able to work all Dallas Wings home games, which includes weekends and holidays, if necessary. Must demonstrate professionalism, a customer-first attitude, enthusiasm, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Work Location & Hours: Work is performed at one of the arenas as determined necessary by the Company. Must be available to attend all home games for Dallas Wings. Games may take place on nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Ideal Candidate Attributes/Competencies: Team-first attitude and relentless work ethic that is dedicated, detail orientated and willing to go above and beyond for the success of the department and teams. Ability to develop, maintain and foster strong relationships with industry journalists and media outlets, as well as players, coaches and team staff. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive, productive and supportive working relationships throughout the organization. Responsive with an ability to multi-task, work independently and handle feedback. Adaptive to fluid situations. Willing to work extended/non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Identify areas of opportunity and propose potential solutions while continuing to lead projects without interruption. RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. Hearing, seeing, reading, writing, concentration, comprehension, and talking with clear speech. Planning, organizing, interpreting data, making decisions, problem-solving, and composure under deadlines/stress.
