Marketing & Community Events Intern

Are you passionate about sports, marketing, and connecting with people in the Tulsa community? experience in event marketing, brand promotion, and community engagement—all while representing Tulsa’s professional soccer team. This is a part-time, paid internship. Position PurposeThe FC Tulsa mission is to unite and inspire Green Country through the highest level of professional sports in Tulsa. Responsibilities Be available multiple times per week to represent FC Tulsa at marketing/community events, festivals, and team-sponsored appearances. Manage an ongoing calendar & list of marketing/community events and assist in their execution, including player community appearances, watch parties, media appearances, and more. Set up and tear down a branded marketing booth, displays, merch, and promotional materials several times per week. Able to drive throughout the FC Tulsa metro area and transport items needed to activate marketing pop ups, including tables, tents, signage, and promotional materials. Engage with the public in a fun, energetic manner that represents FC Tulsa positively. Distribute promotional materials and team merchandise to the public. Manage inventory of promotional/marketing materials and communicate asset needs on a week-to-week basis. Collect data from event attendees to support marketing initiatives. Take phone photos and video of FC Tulsa event activations to promote the team's community/marketing outreach efforts. Assist with generating creative strategies and content ideas to market the team. Commit to attend assigned FC Tulsa home games and community events during the internship term to fulfill marketing and promotional initiatives. Support the marketing team with other tasks as needed. Qualifications Must be available for select FC Tulsa home matches and multiple weekly events. No experience required. Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish and EnglishExperience working in the soccer, sports, and/or entertainment industry. Strong writing & editing skills. Experience with photography and/or videography. Essential Functions: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Punctuality, accountability, and keen attention to detail in each duty. Ability to work independently and in a group while handling several tasks simultaneously. Ability to react quickly and positively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with discretion. Requirements Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
