Job DescriptionThis opportunity is listed for Kickball & Softball Umpires only. Diamond Sport Umpires are responsible for understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment. This is a part-time role, great for anyone who likes being outside, enjoys sports, and is looking for supplemental income. Responsibilities:Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all playersUnderstand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport’s rulesCommunicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc. QualificationsMust have played the sport before and be familiar with the rules(Kickball and/or Softball)Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks, time options as follows:Weekday availability from 5:30pm-10:00pm Weekend availability between 9am - 3pmMust have reliable transportation to and from field locationsMust be a confident, loud individual ready to make calls on the fieldWhat We Look For:People with a passion for sports and social activitiesMust value punctuality and professionalismPrior umping experience is a plus, but not requiredExperience in diffusing challenging situations a plusVolo is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that proudly pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
