Ice Rink Tavern / Restaurant - BOH Staff

Extreme Ice Center is a two-sheet ice rink located southeast of Charlotte, N. C. that provides year-round programs, leagues, classes and events for hockey, figure skating and recreational skating. Our in-house bar and restaurant, Center Ice Tavern, is seeking experienced line cooks, expeditors, and food runners that have a passion for food and hospitality. RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety protocolsSupport menu planning by preparing ingredients and assembling meals according to dietary guidelinesMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen in compliance with food safety standardsHandle food items safely, including proper storage, portioning, and disposal practicesSupport catering events or special meal occasions as neededFollow all food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety are upheld at all timesREQUIREMENTSPrior experience in dietary departments, food service, or restaurant environments is highly preferredDemonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assemblyKnowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniquesExperience with menu planning and catering is a plusAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailExcellent communication skills to work in others in the kitchenKitchen experience within the food industry or fine dining settings is advantageousCOMPENSATION: Depending on the position and experience, pay rates range from $12-20/hour to start.
