Tournament Office Intern – Fall 2026Valspar Championship, a PGA TOUR event Company OverviewThe Valspar Championship is a 72-hole official PGA TOUR event and part of the season-long FedEx Cup played on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook, a Salamander Golf and Spa Resort in Palm Harbor, FL.

The Tournament Office Intern will work with Valspar Championship staff in areas including, but not limited to:Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors, answering and directing incoming phone calls, and assisting guests at the front desk. Maintain the day-to-day organization and appearance of the tournament office, ensuring common areas, conference rooms, and workspaces are presentable and functional. Provide administrative support to the Valspar Championship staff, including filing, scanning, copying, data entry, preparing documents, and organizing electronic and paper files. Prepare meeting materials and set up conference rooms for staff and partner meetings. Monitor and maintain office supply inventory, placing orders for office supplies, snacks, beverages, and other workplace essentials as needed. Receive, organize, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. Support staff with special projects, research, mailings, and event preparation. Help coordinate office logistics, vendor deliveries, and general operational needs. Assist with promoting the Valspar Championship at off-site community events, sponsor activations, and networking functions throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Conduct research on local events, organizations, businesses, and venues to identify opportunities for tournament promotion, community engagement, and partnership development.
Represent the Valspar Championship professionally while providing exceptional customer service to sponsors, volunteers, vendors, board members, and guests.
All internships are unpaid and must be completed for course credit.
