Jacksonville Icemen Merchandise Internship

Position Summary:The Jacksonville Icemen Hockey Team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Merchandise Intern to assist with day-to-day operations of the team’s retail and merchandise efforts. Responsibilities:Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of merchandise stands during home games and special events. skills in both in-arena and retail store settingsOperate point-of-sale systems, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service during home games and retail store regular hoursProcess inventory shipments including counting in merchandise, tagging products and delivering product to appropriate sales locations within the building. Support online store operations including order fulfillment and customer inquiries. Assist in researching new merchandise trends and providing input on product selection. Participate in the development of retail marketing promotions both in-arena and online. Participate in scheduled merchandise team calls with Zawyer management Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Retail, Business, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
