ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollow all safety and sanitation standards, neatness, and organization of work areasFollow all company drink and food recipes and procedures to provide high quality and consistent service to guestsGreet all guests with fast, friendly, personalized serviceEnsuring that all guests are educated on products and service offeringsAnswer guest questions regarding food and coffee blends, preparation, and product freshnessProvide excellent customer service to guests by being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the café’s menu and productsAccurately process sales orders into the POS system, inform guests of amount owed, and close out receipts in a courteous and friendly mannerAssist with station duties and performing other assigned duties/tasks—as neededPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly manage the floor staff while having direct interaction with customersMaintain accurate records during the shift and accurately balance the day at the end of shiftEnsure that the correct closing procedures are followed: all areas of the café are to be left clean, tidy and secure, ready for the next day’s serviceAssist with daily, weekly and monthly inventory—as neededQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
