Starting Hourly Pay = $30-$35/hourJob DescriptionWhen you accept a position with Volo, you’ll be joining a passionate, driven group of innovators within the social sports industry.… QualificationsCertified Soccer official - Colorado Soccer Association or US SoccerCapable of officiating 7v7 or 11v11 soccerOne (1) year of previous referee, playing, or coaching experience is preferred. Understands how the game is played including the principles, practice, and techniques used in recreational sporting events. Ability to handle participants, team managers and/or coaches under difficult game situations. Ability to lift and carry 50 poundsPossess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearlyMust be available to work evenings and/or weekendsProficient customer service skillsCapable of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with fellow employees, various community organizations, and the public. High School Diploma /GED Equivalency Referee responsibilities:Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all playersUnderstand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport’s rulesCommunicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc. responsibilities include, but not limited to:Serve as a Volo representative at facilities and fieldsSet up & take down fields and /or soccer goalsUpdate league scores in our host appPromote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling and help distribute marketing materialsEncourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the leagueMust be available at least 1 day per week from 5:30pm-10:30pm for at least eight weeksOther league-day preparations, such as field setup and supervision. Use host app to check in players as needed Execute fundraising activities to support kids programs Make players meet & feel welcome“WOW” Us With ...
