POSITION: Conversion Crew MemberDEPARTMENT: OperationsREPORTS TO: Operations ManagerFLSA STATUS: Part-time/On call, hourly, Non-ExemptSummary Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has immediate openings for Conversion Crew at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for working with a team to convert and prepare facilities for events. Assist with event setups, changeovers, and operational tasks as directed by the manager and supervisor which may include tables, flooring, risers and portable seating, etc. are completed in a first class and efficient manner. Assist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipment such as seating, risers, dressing room furniture, and miscellaneous otherAssist during event responding to radio requests for set up, removal, and/or repair of risers and department equipment. Works with other in-house staff to ensure production requirements are met and promoter/client requests are fully executed. Contributes to the team dynamic by assisting coworkers, maintaining the facilities' cleanliness and helping to develop and maintain a positive work environment. Physical work/heavy lifting is common and required. Other duties as assigned by management. Education/ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift certification preferred. Trades experience (e.) QualificationsKnowledge of staging and production equipment desired. A minimum of 2-4 years of related work experienceWorking knowledge of facility operations, changeovers and setupsAbility to meet deadlines and function in a fast-paced settingAbility to lift/push/pull or otherwise move 30 lbs. QualificationsRequires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours. Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to heights, elevators, darkened areas, around crowds, loud noise, and flashing lights. Continuous standing and walking, including up and down stairs.
