S. Open Championship will be held at Pebble Beach Golf Links, located in Pebble Beach, CA. This will be the seventh U.
S. Open Championship hosted by Pebble Beach. This historic site has held a variety of major events that include a U.
S. Women’s Open, U.
S Amateur, and U.
S. Women’s Amateur. The last time the U.
S. Open Championship took place at Pebble Beach was in 2019. The 2027 U.

About this role: The Championship Office is a fast-paced working environment.
skills. On a daily basis, the intern will find themselves working in a typical office environment as well as significant work done in exterior environs. The ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting boxes and manual labor may be required at times. In the weeks leading up to the Championship, the intern will work at least (40) hours work weeks; however, as we grow closer to the Championship, work weeks will lengthen to eighty-plus hours (80+) and will include several weekends. An internship with the United States Golf Association and the 2027 U.

The Championship Office Intern will assist with the day-to-day administrative management of the Championship Office and focus heavily on the Volunteer Program for the 2027 U.

responsibilities, and post-championship breakdown. What you’ll do: Administrative Tasks: Answering incoming e-mails and phone calls to the 2027 U.
S. Open championship office. Preparing mailings, opening incoming mail, handling UPS shipping/receiving. Maintain all necessary office supplies and order items as necessary. May require local trips to pick-up items as needed. Assist in taking and distributing notes for meetings as necessary. Volunteer Program: The Volunteer Program for the 2027 U.
S.
responsibilities including volunteer scheduling, site visits, and managing volunteer committees. Setting up, organizing, and tearing down volunteer areas on championship grounds. Pay: $17.40/hour, subject to applicable California wage and overtime laws.
Internship Dates: January 1, 2027 – June 30, 2027Job Location: Pebble Beach, CA (Housing stipend provided)What you bring: Ability to work long and strenuous hours (40 – 100+ hour work week). Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a golf cart.
