QualificationsTechnical Leadership: Set technical standards, establish best practices, and make architectural decisions that scale across web and mobile platforms. Drive adoption of modern tooling and workflows across the frontend team. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, support career development, and foster a collaborative engineering culture. React & Next.js Development: Architect and build production React applications with TypeScript, leveraging Next.js for server-side rendering, static generation, and optimized performance. React Native Expertise: Develop and ship cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, with experience navigating platform-specific nuances for iOS and Android. AI-Native Workflow: Champion the use of AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor across the team to accelerate feature delivery, automate boilerplate, debug efficiently, and prototype solutions rapidly. Component System Design: Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design system implementations that ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement lazy loading strategies, optimize bundle sizes, and ensure smooth animations and interactions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Design to translate requirements into technical specifications, provide accurate estimates, and advocate for engineering best practices. Code Quality: Champion testing practices (unit, integration, E2E), conduct thorough code reviews, and maintain high standards for code maintainability and documentation.
