Job Summary:Provide corrective and preventative maintenance on all CMR exterior and interior structures and systems. Includes plumbing repair, alteration, remodels, and installs; refrigeration diagnosis understanding; commercial furnace and boiler troubleshooting and repair; electrical repairs up to 110v; siding repair; deck building; door and window repair or install; commercial appliance maintenance; lock install/repair and key copying; drywall repair with paint/texture matching; and carpet and vinyl flooring install/repair. Basic Requirements:Must be flexible to working days and hours, especially ramp up/down and busy occupancy periods. Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Must be able to distinguish colors. Must be able to work in all types of conditions:Crawl spaces, cold or hot areas, inside and outside. Must be able to work in small, hard to reach places. Must be able to work on or around roof areas of buildingsMust be able to work well with others, be a team player, and be willing to learn more advanced skills in Building MaintenanceMust keep accurate records and be able to communicate properly with vendors and sub-contractors. Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted. This background check will be done in accordance with standards enacted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Must have a valid US Driver’s license. General maintenance work, including: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other general interior and exterior building maintenance as needed or directed by the Building Maintenance Manager. Use of many types of hand and power tools: drills/drivers, routers, electrical meter, planer, jointer, power saws, auger/snake, jetter, key punching and key cutting machines, paint sprayers, and other tools and equipment associated with repairing building systemsComfortable with computers and smart devices. Must be computer literate with Microsoft Outlook and be able to learn other job-related computer systemsMaintain a safe work area at all times.
