HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALISTTrail Drive Management Corp. – Fort Worth, TXTrail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is the not-for-profit organization that manages the spectacular Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned by the City of Fort Worth, the state-of-the-art arena opened in November 2019 and hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, family entertainment, and Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.
Job Summary:Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a full-time Human Resources Generalist. This position ensures HR programs and processes align with TDMC's mission and values while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and managers.
Essential Job Functions:Assist with recruitment and management of the ATS, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer coordinationInitiate and review background checks, ensuring compliance with TDMC policy and applicable lawCoordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hiresAssist with payroll processing and maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS system, with special attention to personnel actions including, but not limited to, compensation and classification changes, personnel transactions, benefit changes, and other related HR transactionsAdminister benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment activitiesInterpret and apply company policies and procedures; assist in drafting and updating HR policiesAdvises employees and managers regarding benefits and leave programs (i.d
Qualifications:Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
High school education or equivalent requiredFour-year degree in a related field preferred3+ years of successful Human Resources experience performing similar tasksStrong work ethic, sense of urgency, and ability to work independentlySelf-starter, flexible and adaptable to constant change, with the ability to work in a result-driven, high-demand environmentKnowledge of human resources principles, practices, and processesAbility to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issuesKnowledge of current federal and state employment law and regulationsAbility to proactively use discretion and sound judgment when guiding supervisors and employeesAbility to protect confidential information and communicate with impeccable discretion in all matters related to employees and internal processesSkilled in formulating policy and procedures and developing and implementing new strategies and proceduresExperience with UKG a plusAbility to work a flexible schedule including – nights, weekends, and holidays.
Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Working Conditions:Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Employees will frequently operate a computer and other office devices such as calculators, telephones, faxes, and printersEmployees will constantly move about inside and outside various areas of the facility before/during/after events to interact with internal/external clients.
Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
