Position Description The Product Designer will own the design of U. S. experiences end to end, while helping evolve the mobile component of U. S. ResponsibilitiesOwn the design of U. S. requirements from across the Federation into clear, intuitive mobile experiences Apply native iOS and Android design patterns and platform conventions while maintaining a coherent U. S. RequirementsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a relevant field of expertise, or equivalent professional experience 2+ years of professional product design experience, with a meaningful portion focused on shipping native mobile applications (iOS, Android, or both) A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, interaction design, and end-to-end mobile product thinking Strong working knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design, and an understanding of when to follow platform conventions versus when to depart from them Proficiency in Figma, including building and maintaining mobile components, variants, and tokens, and creating prototypes that communicate motion and interactionDemonstrated ability to drive design work independently and lead the design direction of a product or major feature areaGeneral knowledge of soccerCapable of working in fast-paced and demanding environmentsMust be able to connect the "micro" details to the "macro" vision and missionDesired QualificationsExperience as the lead or sole designer on a consumer-facing mobile app Background working with video-heavy content, real-time data, or content-rich feeds in a mobile context Demonstrated strategic hustle and work ethic with diversity of thought Familiarity with mobile accessibility standards (WCAG 2. experience contributing to a mobile design system as a maintainer Comfort with motion design and prototyping tools beyond Figma (e.g., Principle, After Effects, or Lottie) Background in, and passion for, soccer, sports, or membership-based organizations U.
