OverviewAs a key member of the management team, the Director of Field Finance for OVG360, a division of Oak View Group, will report to the Senior Regional Director of Finance. responsibilities for the Facilities organization. ResponsibilitiesServe as interim Director of Finance at venues that have open finance positions. responsibilities will include:Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including compliance with GAAP and regulatoryrequirements. Prepares statements for the Client and Corporate, and other financial reports, including monthly statements, Annual Budget and Annual Report. Collaborate with on-site venue finance teams and General Managers to ensure industry best practices are in place at all managed facilitiesPartner with venue finance teams and General Managers in review and approval of venue budget in advance of presentation to clientsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsAssist with projecting event deals, actual event P&L's, analysis, and "settlement" of shows on the night of eventsOversee payroll process for accuracy and timeliness of paychecksOversee box office, ticket sale receipts and reportingOversee food and beverage accountingPrepare appropriate state and local tax returns to be filed timelyDirects the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution,depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance recordsBe subject matter experts on accounting systems and processLead training of finance employeesOversee the onboarding of the finance function of new business opportunitiesDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsQualificationsEducation & certification/license credentialsBS Accounting or FinanceCPA preferredFunctional competencies — skills, knowledge & experience5-7+ years of progressive work experience in accounting & financePrior experience in sports, entertainment, facility managementPrior regional oversight of multiple venues preferredDemonstrated experience as a “hands-on” finance professionalStrong understanding of accounting standards and practicesExperience managing back-office capabilities (A/P, A/R, Payroll) is ideal but not requiredSolid operations focus with diverse skill set in financial planning and analysis preferredDetail-oriented with exceptional planning and organizational skillsExcellent oral and written communications skillsSelf-starter with the desire to work with people, develop ideas, and drive efficienciesPublic accounting experience is a plusNetSuite and Sage experience is a plus
