Ticket Operations AssistantThe Salem RidgeYaks are the Single A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. We are seeking an organized, attentive, and outgoing individual to fill the position of Ticket Operations Assistant in Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge. The ideal candidate will be incredibly organized and communicative, have a willingness to learn, and represent the RidgeYaks in a professional, and friendly manner. The Ticket Operations Assistant will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the team’s ticket office as well as the overall ticket operations. Ideally, the position would begin in mid February and run through the end of the season in mid September.
Hiring Manager: Dylan FicksRequirements:· Bachelor’s degree in applicable field· Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills· Passion for the product and providing excellent customer service· Ability to be coachable, with a desire to learn and excel· Ability to problem solve, work independently, and as a team· Knowledge of Tickets.
Responsibilities:· Assist in day-to-day ticket operations including event creation, buyer type management, and fulfilling orders· Assist in print and distribution of season tickets, group tickets, and game day tickets· Responsible for supervising and assisting box office employees· Answer phones and assist walk-in customers· Troubleshoot ticket issues for customers· Meet sales goals as assigned· Provide efficient and accurate Will Call printing service· Management and setup of Will Call & Box Office (Day-of-Game)· Other duties as assigned Job Questions:1.
