    Director of Ticket Sales & ServiceMobile Pro Hockey (Zawyer Sports)Mobile Pro Hockey is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Ticket Sales & Service to lead our inaugural sales team. This pivotal role is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic planning, staff development, and exceptional customer service. The Director will work in close partnership with the Market President and Zawyer Sports executive leadership team (C‑Suite) to align ticketing strategy with overall organizational objectives and ensure execution at the highest level. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and execute a comprehensive ticket sales strategy in collaboration with the Market President and C‑Suite leadership to meet or exceed annual revenue goals. Serve as the primary ticketing leader, providing recommendations and participating in key revenue and business decisions alongside executive leadership. Mentor, motivate, and coach the ticket sales staff, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture. Oversee all sales and service activities for season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, hospitality areas, and other ticket products. Lead regular ticket sales staff meetings, facilitating discussion and sharing best practices to maximize revenue and efficiency. Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly sales reports, revenue projections, and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the Market President and C‑Suite. Create and implement engaging sales contests and incentive programs to drive team performance and morale. Develop and maintain a personal book of business, including season ticket members, mini-plan holders, and premium clients. Research, recommend, and implement industry best practices for ticket sales strategies, events, and campaigns. Handle escalated customer challenges and ensure resolution aligns with organizational standards and leadership expectations. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, and operations to develop compelling sales materials and initiatives. QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience with a proven track record of revenue generation. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing and developing sales teams. At least 3 years of experience in the sports industry, preferably in professional or minor league sports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM/database systems. Experience with ticketing platforms is strongly preferred. Skills & AttributesStrong strategic mindset with the ability to align departmental goals with executive-level vision and direction. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborative leadership style with experience working cross-functionally and alongside executive stakeholders. Proven ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Passion for building teams, developing talent, and driving a winning culture. High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
